📚 Our Vision

The Fremont County Read & Retreat Center will be Wyoming’s first rural retreat and bookstore experience—designed as a vibrant space for readers, writers, artists, musicians, and community members to gather, create, share, and thrive.

With a dual-purpose space including a cozy literary bookstore and giftshop featuring local artisans and the Books & Bourbon Speakeasy, the center will host:

  • Author readings & literary lounges
  • Artist exhibits & live music
  • Veteran storytelling nights
  • Indigenous, diverse, veteran, and rural community publishing workshops
  • Seasonal writing retreats & book launches for independent authors

  • Meditation and mindfulness circles to support emotional resilience and creative flow
  • Yoga sessions for writers, artists, and community members of all abilities
  • Tai Chi and gentle movement workshops for veterans, elders, and those seeking healing through motion
  • Holistic retreats that integrate mind-body practices with storytelling and artistic exploration
  • Guest instructors and facilitators offering workshops in breathwork, energy alignment, sound healing, and intuitive journaling

We are Lionheart Guild, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and 509(a)(2) public charity. Our publishing house, Lionheart Group Publishing, has served emerging and underrepresented voices since 2007—providing high-quality, professional publishing support and creative empowerment for authors, artists, and storytellers across the country.
